common permit combinations
After it is determined the type of beverages you will be serving we will go over the common permits we see many of our applicants apply for. We should also note that some of these permits can be combined with one another. The reason you would combine them is to say if you don’t get all the features out of one permit that you would need for your business. (Ex. If you combined the MB with the LB, The MB only allows you to sell until Midnight (12 AM), however, if you add the LB you can sell until 2 AM.) Here is our list:
Mixed Beverage Permit (MB) $6,602
Mixed Beverage Late Hours (LB) $627
*Wine and Beer Retailed permit (BG) $2,553
Retailer Dealers On-Premise Late Hours license (BL) $827
Wine and Beer Retailer Off-Premise permit (BQ) $673
Food and Beverage Certificate (FB) $776
Beer Retailers Off-Premise License (BF) $673
Package Store permit (P) $1,501
Wine Only Package Store (Q) $703
*Varies by County to County, This is for Harris county only. Call for your County!
As mentioned above there are certain combinations of permits you would use, we will go over those combinations as it pertains to their total cost. These prices can vary depending on how much the City fees, County fees, Or any other fees may be. Also if you need Bonds or Additional permits those fees would not be included in these numbers. We know that there are a lot of variables that are being left untouched but that is because every case is different, your business is special we understand that. Those variables in your business are what could potentially change the price. Here are the totals for commonly combined permits:
Mixed Beverages (MB) + Late Hours (LB) = Starts at $7,229
